I have grown weary and frustrated with the comfortable white folk I know who ignore the evil in silence.
The quote "Silence is complicity" is often attributed to Albert Einstein, though he is more famously quoted as saying, "If I were to remain silent, I'd be guilty of complicity." This quote highlights the idea that remaining silent in the face of injustice or wrongdoing is itself a form of participation.
While Einstein's quote is well-known, the sentiment of "silence being complicity"has been echoed by others throughout history and in various contexts. Martin Luther King Jr. also famously preached that "in the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends." He also stated, "we will have to repent in this generation not merely for the vitriolic words and actions of the bad people but for the appalling silence of the good people."
Other figures who have expressed similar sentiments include Ginetta Sagan, who said, "Silence in the face of injustice is complicity with the oppressor." Additionally, Maria Ressa has said, "Silence is complicity because silence is consent."
For God’s sake, for the sake of Divine LOVE…SPEAK OUT on behalf of those who can’t or aren’t heard. LOVE demands this of us all.
Hoofnote: Where are the voices of the true followers of Christ Jesus?! The nation and the church have been co-opted by fascist christian nationalists, in a word—antichrists.

Sometimes I think the silent ones carry the most responsibility for evil doings. I am mad, too.
